What we collect

PeDeDe is designed to work without an account. We may receive technical information such as browser type, device type, approximate location, and request logs needed to keep the publication secure and reliable.

Saved stories and preferences

Theme preferences and saved-story state may be stored locally in your browser. These values are not required to read the publication and are not used to identify you.

News sources and external links

PeDeDe links to original sources and third-party services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, email, and Snapchat when you choose to share a story. Those services apply their own privacy policies.

Cookies and analytics

PeDeDe uses one random, anonymous browser cookie to estimate unique visitors. The server stores only a one-way hash of that random identifier together with the day and public page; it does not store IP addresses or raw visitor identifiers. Visit totals count page views, while unique totals count one browser once per day per public page.

Your choices

You can clear local storage, disable cookies in your browser, or stop using the site. For a privacy request, contact the PeDeDe editorial team through the official publication channel.
